Flowing through S.S.S.I grassland at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds, Mulberry-Whin is over 1 mile of Double Bank Chalkstream fishing. Forming part of the nationally renowned "Driffield West Beck", the river is spring fed from numerous smaller streams.
Although well-stocked Mulberry-Whin has many wild trout as well. They are clearly visible moving between the numerous swaying fronds of weed in the beautiful clear water making this an ideal location for the discerning angler on what has been described as one of the best stretches of Chalkstream Fishing available in the U.K.
Driffield West Beck as it is sometimes otherwise known rises as a spring at Elmswell in the foothills of the Yorkshire Wolds. It flows for a shade over 10 miles, in every sense a perfect chalk river until it joins the River Hull to complete a further 19 mile journey to the sea.
A secure and well equiped cabin is accessed down a well maintained farm track, with ample secure parking and WC.
Fishermans hampers can be booked these are delivered to the cabin at lunch, or if you prefer breakfast on arrival after a long journey this can also be catered for.
