Overview

Park is renowned for the quality of its fishing and variety of pools with both banks of the river owned by the estate. The beat comprises Park North (4 rods) and Park South (3 rods). Park is unlike other Lower Dee beats as it fishes well in both high and low water having a mix of bigger and short narrow pools which can produce fish in a variety of conditions. Depending on height, a considerable quantity of bank fishing is available. Wading is generally easy and certain pools are suitable for older guests and beginners.

Fishing is available for 1 rod for 1 day, to weekly lets for parties of up to 7 fishers. Self-catering accommodation is available in Lime Tree Cottage; a warm and comfortable retreat for fishers who want to maximise their time on the river. Lime Tree Cottage is only a 2 minute drive from the river via private track.

Park North hut is located in the middle of the fishery looking out on the famous Cellar Pool and Durris Stream. Park South Hut is located towards the top end with a wonderful view of Coopers, the Long Pool, the Kirks, Greenbank and Castleton.

The estate provides one expert ghillie for each bank and additional ghillies are also available, at an extra charge. Instruction is a speciality; please enquire for further details.
