The Broom Fisheries coarse angling facility has become one of the most popular fishing locations in Scotland.
The ticket price for coarse fishing is £5 per day.
With more than 100 pegs on a wide choice of coarse waters, including the purpose built canal, the Broom Fisheries coarse angling facility has become one of the most popular fishing locations in Britain.
Situated within easy access of the M6 and M74, The Broom's peaceful and natural 200 acre setting attracts regular anglers from Scotland, Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyneside, and Lancashire
Here you have an excellent opportunity to catch barbel, roach, tench, perch, bream, a wide variety of carp, ide, gudgeon and chub. These waters are well stocked with thousands of quality fish.
If you want something more than just pleasure fishing we also run regular competitions here which are great fun and give you the chance to meet other people who share your fishing passion.
You can buy maggots, worms, casters, a wide range of manufactured baits and all of your fishing tackle needs in our well stocked tackle shop and you can relax in the recently refurbished cafe and refreshment area, have a bite to eat and a cup of coffee and chat with fellow anglers about your day. Someone is always on hand to offer expert help to beginners and seasoned anglers.
The ticket price for coarse fishing is £5 per day.
We welcome enquiries from fishing clubs and event organisers
We can also help you to raise money for your favourite charity (last year we raised over £7,500 for Macmillan Cancer Support at one event). Just contact us to discuss your ideas, and we will see what we can do.
