We are pleased to announce that FishPal have been appointed as delivery partner to the Scottish Government for the proposed programme of help to Angling Clubs to mitigate the impact of mandatory catch and release.
From the Scottish Government - "As many of you are aware a number of angling clubs expressed concern during the extensive consultation period about the impact of mandatory catch and release and potentially on angling participation.
To help mitigate this potential impact, the Scottish Government announced a funding package of up to £100,000 to support clubs concerned about the impact of the measures. I am now pleased to announce that FishPal have been appointed as the delivery partner for the programme to promote catch and release as a sustainable activity.
A partnership that brings the expertise of FishPal with their numerous contacts and knowledge of fishing to the very heart of the proposed support on offer to Angling Clubs across the country. Using all FishPal's experience of dealing with beats, rivers and clubs across the country and sharing best practices there is much they can help you with so please do get in touch using the form at this link".
