0.5 mile double bank fishing on alternate days each week, 5 named pools

1 boat, 1 hut and WC facilities during the autumn period.

During the spring and summer months the beat is un-ghillied but there will be someone available each morning to show you the water. Fishing is from the bank only during this period.

From 6th August 2012 there will be one full time ghillie in attendance.

Price: £45 to £140 + VAT per rod/day

Description

Luncarty is approximately half-a-mile in length with five named; Shochie, Big Stone, Eddys, Cadgers and the Willow.
The mouth of the Shochie and Ordie burns come in at the top of the beat making an attractive stopping off point for passing salmon and sea trout.

The beat fishes four rods and has one boat and a fishing hut at the river.
The beat makes for good fly and spin fishing from both bank and boat.
In September and October 2011 sizeable salmon in the high teens and up to 25lbs were caught from both bank and boat.

The beat is fished on alternate days and in 2012 is fished on both banks on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

During the period of Monday 7th May until Saturday 30th June the beat is fished from the Luncarty bank only six days a week.
