Last week

(Last updated: Tuesday 7th August)

With a consistent water level coming off Loch Ness, the river is bucking the trend by a, fishing and b, producing fish.
As the majority of rivers are so low on water, they have become almost too low to fish.
The river and beats offer a great alternative to those still heading north to fish.

River news,

In the last week the river Ness is now holding fish from Association water into all beats upto Loch Ness.
There are fresh grilse coming into the beats, as well as some residential fish which will slow their progress in to the
the Loch and beyond. This situation with fish backing up in the river will likely stay like this for the near future.
