Nairn Angling Assoc Latest Report

Last updated: Monday 23rd April

The river rose and fell most days, with the slow snow melt, due to the rise in temperature. John Mackintosh got the week off to a good start with a 7 lb fish that he released. Tuesday and Davie (Tackie) Mackintosh had a fresh sea trout of 3 lbs. After that things got difficult and no other fish were reported. I think the cold water is still putting off the runs from coming in from the sea. This coming week appears to be dry and river levels are now at summer level and a good spell of rain is now needed.
