Western Rivers
This page covers the main rivers in the far north-west of Scotland, from Ullapool in the south, to Cape Wrath in the north. Rivers are listed from south to north. Click the names for more details on each.
Kirkaig - This river flows into the sea to the south of Lochinver but due to some high falls only 2 or 3 miles at the bottom is fishable.
Inver - Another of the larger west coast rivers, which flows into the sea at LochInver
Laxford & Loch Stack - Entering the sea between Scourie and Cape Wrath the Laxford system includes Loch Stack, once famed for its sea trout.
