5 year average catch for the beat 60 salmon & 23 sea trout.
1 km south bank with 4 named pools, 1 ghillie, 1 hut with WC.
Maximum rods 2: Price range: £90 - £125 per rod/day.
Please note that whilst Tilquhillie recommends the wearing and use of life vests, this fishing beat does not supply life vests for the use of anglers. The beat follows the River Dee conservation code.

The single bank Tilquhillie fishings extend to just over 1 km on the south bank from just below Birkwood House down to the Floating Bank where it marches with the Knappach fishings. The opposite bank is the 2 rod Upper Crathes Castle fishing.
There are 4 named pools Birkwood, Pantoch, Old Kiln and Floating Bank. Pantoch & Floating Bank being two of the best fish holding pools in the river. The pools are all relatively free from trees, and the beat is well recognized for its ease of fishing, both wading and from the bank. The fishing/lunch hut, with heating and toilet facilities, is situated at the Floating Bank pool.
There is excellent vehicular access to the fishing, with a roadway alongside the whole beat. Tenants fishing are requested to fish fly only and return all salmon as per the Dee Board's catch and release policy.
There is a full time ghillie who is shared with the Invery beat.
Tilquhillie rods have access to the neighbouring 4 rod Invery beat. Rotation will be determined by the ghillie.
