Last week

(Last updated: Friday 17th August)

The last few weeks have seen the river fishing really well !

A few seatrout last week, rain over the weekend really livened things up , I'm getting reports of good numbers of salmon being caught, best at 15lb, seatrout are still present, with a belter of 8lb caught yesterday, mostly spinning has been successful, but as levels fall the fly should come on to play!

Levels are good at present, more rain tonight, most anglers have had a fish or two.

Martin Coulthard is now looking after the Cannobie and Langholm Club water and
brings a wealth of knowledge and tactics to the river. Martin
