Beauly Angling Club

Location

Beauly, Inverness, Cromarty

Summary

Fishing on the River Beauly down stream from Lovat Bridge to Wester Lovat; comprising 7 miles of double bank fishing with ten named pools.
We also have the Beauly Firth fishing largely for sea trout.

Description

Beats 1-3 directly downstream of Lovat bridge provide lovely fly water and are fished predominantly for Salmon. Beats 4-7 are most popular with Sea Trout anglers and apart from beat 8 (ferry) flow rates can be slow in low water.
All beats are tidal and effectively become unfishable for between 2 and 4 hours around high tide.

The fishing on the inner half of the Beauly Firth is also available, offering saltwater fly fishing, spinning and bait fishing predominately for Sea Trout.
