(Last updated: Wednesday 18th October)
The Annan is currently sitting at a good height on the upper and middle river and on those beats it should hold its level fairly well through to the end of this week. The lower river is currently at a good spinning height as it continues to drop and by tomorrow it should be at an ideal height for the fly, again it should hold its height well for the rest of the week and with rain forecast for Saturday evening there sound be a further flush of water before the beginning of next week.
After such a spell of good water the upper beats should start to see more and more fish in the coming weeks and the middle beats should also continue to produce salmon as they move up through the river.
