The Hraun beat operates the 'whole day' fishing policy which means the fishing starts at 07:00 in the morning and terminates at 22:00 in the evening. However, the fishing hours are a maximum 6 hours in the morning and 6 hours in the afternoon.
The maximum number of rods allowed to fish at the Hraun beat any one time are three (3). It is quite common in Iceland for 2 fishermen to share one rod.
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for a map of the Hraun beat and its fishing pools.
The Hraun beat has a full catch and release policy on all trout and the occasional salmon.
There are several options in accommodation in the nearby farms such as at the Guesthouse Brekka: this page
