Fishing Tackle Hire

If you want to fish somewhere and don't have your own fishing tackle then hiring a rod, reel, line and waders is an obvious solution and these pages will help you organise this.

Other circumstances when hiring might be sensible, are when your travel arrangements make it difficult to bring your own tackle, or where precautions against spreading diseases (eg Gyrodactylus salaris) make hiring easier than having to arrange for your own tackle to be properly disinfected.

Many fishing tackle shops hire equipment and some will even deliver and collect from your hotel or fishery. You can book with your fishing, or separately from it at a later date, but please leave eough time for the Tackleshop to organise the hire, especially if delivery to your hotel is offered by them.
