150 acres Map ref: LR 202 555685

Description

Fly fishing from the bank only for stocked rainbow trout, as well as stocked and wild brown trout. (Brown trout catch and release only).

We extend a warm welcome to all trout anglers, whether beginner or expert. The range of fishing we offer ensures excellent sport for all anglers. Our still water rainbow and brown trout fisheries are among the best in the West, with natural, free wilderness sites offering an inexpensive, but maybe challenging, day out in beautiful countryside.

There are picnic tables, toilets, free parking, birdwatching and walks, and an arboretum on site. Ice-creams are available from a van during the summer.

A visit to Burrator would not be complete without seeing some built heritage. On the circular route around the reservoir you'll see the 17th century Longstone Manor and a stop at the arboretum will delight all nature lovers.
